Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic inflicted a deep scar on the global economy, leaving nations grappling with widespread job losses, business closures, and fiscal imbalances. As societies navigate the uncertain path towards recovery, crafting effective fiscal policies remains paramount. This scholarly article delves into the diverse tools at the disposal of policymakers, analyzing the potential and limitations of various fiscal interventions aimed at stimulating economic activity, mitigating social hardship, and fostering sustainable growth in the post-pandemic landscape. Drawing on theoretical frameworks and empirical evidence, the article emphasizes the importance of targeted interventions, fiscal sustainability, and long-term planning to ensure a robust and equitable recovery. Ultimately, the article argues that navigating the complexities of post-pandemic recovery demands a flexible and nuanced approach to fiscal policy, one that balances immediate needs with long-term ambitions for a more resilient and inclusive economy.
